2015 saw Alicia undergo the interview process to join FilmStruck a TCM streaming service. Malone was recording Robert Osborne's and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions in preparation for her TCM host audition for broadcasting. When she was a part of an audition in 2017 The Turner Classic Movies network hired Malone the following year. Malone spoke about the challenges that women confront in the film business twice during TEDx speeches. Maree is also a part of several shows, such as the Today Show NPR CNN The Movies Documentary Series MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight (ET), MTV, and ABC's Live from the Red Carpet Oscar Pre-show for 2019 are all parts of the Entertainment Tonight series.
