Alicia Malone

Alicia was contracted to work for FilmStruck which is a TCM streaming service launched in 2015. Robert Osborne and Ben Mankiewicz's introductions were recorded by Malone in order to practice speaking them out loud to the camera ahead of the TCM host audition for the broadcast channel. Malone auditioned for a Turner Classic Movies presenting position in 2017. The network hired her in January of the next year. Malone is known to have discussed the struggles that women face in the film industry through two separate TEDx talk. Maree Malone has also appeared on several other programs including the Today show on NPR's The Movies documentary series MSNBC Access Hollywood E! Entertainment Tonight (ET) MTV and ABC's 2019 Live from the Red Carpet Oscar pre-show. She has also created and hosted Fandango's YouTube channel Indie Movie Guide.
